I have a few amps in the back of the truck and im looking to stop the lights from surging I have a kenitick battery installed as well thanks

You can use a 90-92 eclipse 4g63 alt or also a Mits van alt.

isnt the apms too high? stock we have a 45apm.

That's what you want is an alt that puts out more amps. Don't run a second alt that's ridiculous.

is the esclipse alt a direct swap or does a bracket need fabbed? what about wiring? pulley?

bolts right up, wiring plugs right in. Just swap pulleys

but with a secondary alt. you can isolate the systems from each other. seeing that your stereo has a high need for amps when pounding hard. so your not dead on the side of the road from beating it up. along with the thought that one could use this setup to save his butt from being stuck on the side of the road and paying a retarded towing bill along with shop fee for a simple little fix. plus I dont have power steering and I dont want or need it. lol
