so i picked up an old beer tap handle from work the other day and wanted to make it my shift knob,, but it if i were to put it on,, when i would go to put it in first it would hit my steering wheel,, anyone know if they make bent shift lever extension or if i were to make one how would i go about it??

how long is this beer tap? you can cut off the whole shifter and be left with a little stub coming out of the tranny then you can weld you new lever to that.
