is the 4g64 block the same all the way from 90s to 2005?

I would ask this over on mightyram50.net . A few knowledgable motor people of there that would probably know. I know that the newer 12(or is it 16?) valve 4g64 engines are different head and accesories wise, but the block might be pretty much the same I'm not sure.

i ended up finding out the blocks are the same on the inside cuz i had to order pistons an bears,ect but now im looking for anouther head i dont so to many 8 valves so i was looking at getting a 16 valve sohc but as long as its for a 4g64 block the intake an stuff should be on the right side as it once was?

I believe so but believe they are still configured a little different. Like I said if you want to ask on the other site I'm pretty sure I've heard them talk about the newer 4g64 so they probably know how easy or not it would be
