Ok guys, I have a 82 Plymouth Arrow with the 2.0. It has never ran while in my possesion, all I have is boxes of parts. This truck is going to be a rat rod style truck, I just want what it takes to make the motor run. I have already yanked out the heating and cooling components, as the truck is body dropped and I don't want to take the time to relocate all that, this is not going to be a daily driver by the way. Any how my question is what can I eliminate or bypass from the truck as far as emission parts go such as the charcoal canister, egr, high altitude compensation system, ect. All I want is bare bones get gas to the carb and go. What can I eliminate in the vacumme sytem of the carb? Like I said I have never seen all these parts hooked up, all I have is boxes of parts and limited fender wheel space due to the drop. What do I absolutley need to make this motor run when I hit the gas.

This is how it sits now, like I said not going for pretty, probably going to keep it in the primer look.

Your Truck is Looking Sweet Man!!
If you Can get a hold of a weber carb, then that would eliminate the Emissions Bull Crap!
I'm not Real sure on whats what Just Yet, I haven't got one either!

Yeah, the pictures of them look a lot simpler. Where is every body getting them though? I looked online and couldn't find any prices, looks like I need a 32\36 DFEV kit.

No not yet. Lol!! I am getting all of my old Honda stuff out of my shop and reorganizing. I did get the 86 d-50 for a parts truck. Its a shame though it has a nice solid body and a good trans I almost hate to cut it up. I will start a new thread and keep you guys posted.
