Hey. I recently got a 1994 mighty max with the 4g64. It has had a lifter tick that fades in and out until yesterday, now it never fades out. I went to remove the valve cover and couldn't get it clear of the throttle body. Does the throttle body have to be removed to get the valve cover off? The previous owner put a new set of lifters in it a few months ago. Not sure why they are already sticking.

Yeah you have to take the throttle body off.

Oh ok thanks for the reply. Is there a gasket required in the whole throttlebody process?

Yessir one or two. Don't remember my throttle body has been on the floor for months lol
