Does anyone know if anyone makes a cowl hood for my 87 D50? Thanks

I may or may not be correct but, I think unlimited products makes one in fiberglass

I THINK THERE'S A GUY ON SSM THAT HAS ONE. I KNOW THE TRUCK IS YELLOW AND I THINK IT HAS A SB 350 IN IT. HE MAY BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHERE HE GOT IT.

there used to be a guy in north carolina that made them i think it was called showdown customs. he made all kinds of fiberglas stuff for minis.

I found a place in NC that went by the name of Moore custom fiberglass. But, they didn't offer a hood for the D50. Any chance this is the same place?

Could be. I haven't seen the guy set up at any shows for some time now. Showdown was definately in the name and I know for sure that he used to make cowl hoods for a d50/mm because that was the only place you could find one. I almost bought one but that was about 5 years ago.

Got this out of a back issue of MT. They did a tech article for a tacoma hood. I'm almost positive this is the place.

They do carry a hood. It's fiberglass; 2" for $419 + shipping
