Hey all, new to the site and just picked up 89 D50 with the 2.0 Liter. Pickup the truck for 300 bucks. truck ran horribly burned oil, blue smoke, valves chattered, wont pass emmision ETC. So did a head / valve job and no more smoke runs pretty good with the exception of a hesitation at mid range power settings. idles perfect, timmed at 8 degrees BTDC, got it leaned out as far as i could get it,( same isue at rich sttings) but yet still have this hesitation. So checked the TPS and it had an open. Changed that and still same thing. I pulled the aircleaner assy off and took it for spin and it runs perfect!! put it back on and runs like dooky again? I am pretty sure that I have all vacuum lines hook up right, but?

I was wondering if anybody could snap some pics of there good running, emisions passing, engine compartment with the all the vacuum lines hooked up so I can compare to what I have got setup currently. Or some advice from someone with this similar issue.

Thanks in advance

Davis
