Just scored a 1983 all original 68,000 mile mighty max

With 2.3l turbo diesel... and 4x4 woooop!
Don't have the pics yet.

Would love to know if there are any mechanics you all have on the west coast. I will drive a hundred miles too...

And... any other help would be appreciated... such as, resources, first things to check/do/change...

I heard timing belt breakage are issues you don't want to deal with...

The oil filter has been an issue too... i tried to get the oil changed at jiffy lube yesterday but they didn't have the filter.
