So since my truck blewed up, i had to find something else to work on. My friend picked up a 82' TE72 with a 4AGE blacktop swap. Today we wired up (well... tried; but we'll get there) a switch for the radiator fan (dont ask). Supposedly the other fried. So i wired up a on-off-on (guy at auto zone who drove a shitty civic's idea) switch just how the prev owner told me... Ground; hot; neutral... wait... there seems to be an extra wire here. wire up the batt; turn on... FIRE! The batt post starts smoking. I traced the third random green (yea, green, grey and blue/white are options... WTF?!) wire to where... MSD Ignition box. IDK whats up with that BS... but we Get it all back to prev state; then drive to checkers. In the parking lot; it stalls... wtf. We push it in a spot, go get our switch and a jump.... get going; stalls just outside the parking lot. After waiting for a friend; getting ready for another jump; i grab the neg to put a jumper on; and the fan kicked on! (We have it hardwired to always run at the moment; didnt undo when it died) So we realized it was the neg post.. but we still had a fried batt, and now his megatach doesnt glow. sad lol. So we finally got the right switch (not installed), a new batt, and the carbs tuned to actually work right. Not bad for never workin on carbs.

So i learned; buying someone elses project is a NIGHTMARE. Wiring sucks, and people like to skimp things! (Flywheel cover anyone?) But winters almost here; and it'll go in the garage to get stripped; painted, wired, and turboed!... ok, not for another year... but soon.

My fun day. ha. So if anyone knows jack about corolla's, 4A's, WEBBER CARBS ect... hit me up. imma be working on a...

Safety Cone Orange color
1982 Toyota Corolla TE72 with
4AGE blacktop swap with webber carbs
Unknown Tranny (5spd swaped)
Welded Rear
Custom crappy headers

So if anyone can help on carb tuning (got it to stop backfiring and sputtering cept in the mids), monstertach light problem, ect... please do so.
