Just removed my middle leaf do I have to put that plastic shim back on ?

Do you notice any thing without it in squeaking ,steel to steel rubbing etc. I don't even know what it's for.

Took leaf spring's apart in a rush to remove middle leaf and all the old bushing's.I know I need bushing's for the upper and lower leaf spring eye's but I forgot if there were bushings in the shackle's or were the shackle bolt's up to the frame can anybody let me know thanks.

there is a bushing in the rear of the leaf spring that the lower part of the shackle "bolt" goes through, and the upper shackle "bolt" has a bushing that goes in the frame
